Sophia's my fave character. I'm glad "The Golden Girls" didn't do like "Designing Women" and take away/add characters. Grr..

Estelle's book is hysterical! I typically hate reading, but this is one book that I can sit and read from cover to cover. It's so entertaining, literally laugh-out-loud funny. I've read it several times (though not recently) and even insisted that my mom read it--and she thought it was funny as well. There are quite a few parts that made me laugh until I had tears in my eyes and my stomach hurt. "If I Knew Then What I Know Now... So What?" is definitely my favorite book of all time. It's like a stand-up comedy act... but in book form!

I don't think so. But they SHOULD be! Rue's breast cancer speech is like a stand-up comedy act and she's HILARIOUS. But she's never really done stand-up as a career. I don't think the other Golden Girls have, either.

They've never done stand-up but we all know that Bea is a theatre buff, same with Rue, I think. Although, I'm not sure about Estelle, but Betty's just been in a lot of movies.

I didn't realize that Estelle had written a book, either! I'm sure it must be out of print, but you could probably pick up a used copy on Amazon.com!
