Do you still think ER is one of the best shows on TV or has it gone down the tubes?

I still love ER, but these past 2-3 seasons haven't been too great, IMHO. It seems that the writers have been relying more and more on soap opera-like storylines and "Will they or won't they?" plots. I wish they'd focus a lot more on the professional lives of these ER doctors and a lot less on the personal lives.

I miss the old for the better storywriting, but I like the newer shows because I like the mix of characters on the show better now. Now if only people would stop leaving....
