Default Who here has written a book?

Who's written a book? I'm in the process of one. It's called...well i dunno what its called but i'll tell you about it. The girl, Kaley (not you, Kaley, lol) and her family are going to Florida, even though Kaley and her older sister Montana don't want to. Once they get down there, Kaley makes friends w/ two kids named Kerry (no not you either Kerri) and Jay and the 3 of them become inseperable. They do things such as visit Kaley's Aunt Delta and crash the Embassy Suites, go on a road trip (sorta) to Kaley's friend Jewel's (meeting two AWESOME people who's initials are D.C. and A.P. ... if ya kno me think about it ), and doing a LOT of other things. I'm hoping to get it published and have a series, and also do Kerry, Jay, Jewel, and Kaley's friends Rhetta, Di, and LeighAnne's books too. I'm on page 32 so far.

Never wrtten an actual book, but I have written tons of short stories in a prose format, including the Gopher's Gateway series. It's really fun to do.

Ditto. But, I have written a BOOK a few months ago which I still have its called 'Karolyn' and its about a gurl named Karolyn and she has 9 year old twin brother and sister Jenilee and Jay. She moves from FL to I think CA and she has to start her whole life over again. The subtitle is, 'New School. New Friends. New Life' and umm she meets this boy but then she tells him thay she already has a b/f named Teddy (heh heh!) bak in FL. Karolyn and Drew (thats the boy) then find out something about thier moms. Do u want me to tell u?! LoL
I wanna get it published but I dont know how.

Joyce, if u get ur book(s) published, I will buy a copy!! lol

When I was 12 I wrote a kids book called "The Cat In The Can." My teacher loved it and I even entered it in a contest but the book didn't get published.

I've never written a book but I used to write a lot of really bad songs and poems back when I was an angst-ridden 15 year old!

I'm in the process of writing two and have several ideas for others (the plots are my secret though ). I want to write both adult fiction and young adult fiction. I'm determined that I'm going to get SOMETHING published! Not sure how you go about doing that, but...

I've been in the process of writing a book off and on for two years now. It's a "continuation" of C.S. Lewis's "The Chronicles of Narnia", finishing out a character's story from where the series left off. So far I'm in Chapter 8 (I plan to make it around, like, 12 or 15 chapters).

I know one's already been published before (though I've never seen it, only heard of it), but this is more for personal fulfillment and enjoyment (and "character therapy for the author"---you have to know the history to understand...).

On the "non-booky" note I've written a few fan fic things: a "lost" episode of "The Muppet Show" with me as the guest star, and Intimate Portraits of Janice (from TMS) and Mokey Fraggle ("Fraggle Rock"). Oh, the things my mind does . . .

Those 3 are available at my website, and also in the fan fic section of Muppet Central, for any o' you fellow Muppet fans out there.

Byron

I love to write short stories too. I have always wanted to be a writer, and loved writing short stories. I don't see myself writing a book with one basic plot line. I think I would rather write a book with 20 short stories in it. I'm a short story kind of girl. I can write short stories, but if I tried to write one story that filled 300 pages- it just wouldn't work.
