Fonz did a few episodes after Rich & Ralph left the show and looked even worse out of his leather jacket though.

If Fonzie "came out" of his leather jacket, he'd still be cool, in his Red, White and Blue undershorts, AYYY! AYYYY! OOOOHHHH!

Did you know that Fonzie is a Republican. "My bike likes Ike!

Yes, but only for the free hot dogs and soda.

In real life, Winkler is a diehard liberal/democrat.

Look how weird Fonz looks without his jacket and WHY are his jeans ironed with a crease and no longer does he wear motorcycle boots?

Default American Musical aka Howard's Girlfriend

Don't forget about this awful episode too
American Musical aka Howard's Girlfriend
In Fonzie's defense though, Henry was playing a non Fonz character on Happy Days which did not require him to wear his jacket so he basically looks like Henry who resembles Fonzie in this situation.

All these reminders why I revile the later seasons of Happy Days. How sad that such a great show sank creatively.

I'm glad to see that others here feel the same way I do about the later seasons. Hard to believe it lasted as long as it did, especially after the 6th season.

In the book Happier Days: Paramount Television's Classic Sitcoms, even Anson Williams admitted that once Ron Howard left, "The magic was gone."

They should have just ended the show when Ron Howard and Donny Most left.
Actually, maybe they should have ended it after the fire. When they rebuilt it, it looked like an English Pub instead of the greatness it used to be.
