Then miraculously in a 90's reunion she and Jonsey had 3 children! But John Curtis is no where to be seen! And in another movie Ben and Cindy's daughter had died (no explanation) and the son that they had in the last season of the Waltons is not mentioned. In that movie Cindy is depressed because she hasn't any children. I cannot understand why Earl Hamner approved of these stupid scripts!

I bought the set with the 6 movies, the first 3 which were made right after the series felt like they were part of the show, but the 3 made in the 90's. It felt like they just ignored the first 3 movies, and much of the stuff that happened in the series. They also got it wrong about Grandpa's death, they didn't have enough years between the movie and when he died.

It wasn't with Ashley. But I remember a really good ep. where Erin is eloping in the middle of the night. They go to the Justice of the Peace's house and wake him and his wife up. ( LOL The wife's hair is in curlers)! It was so funny. I forget exactly how things happened , but of course they didn't end up getting married!

Could it have been him? This boyfriend was really cute too! Erin had better looking men than Mary Ellen did IMO!

That's Paul. They do end up getting married in the 1982 TV movie A Wedding on Walton's Mountain. They also have Ashely Jr return (but played by another actor.)

I have the movie set too. I like the Thanksgiving episodes. Even though the movies are full of errors they are still good to watch. I just ignore the obvious errors!

Yeah, I was disappointed that Ashley wasn't played by Jonathan Frakes. The new guy just didn't cut it! Maybe Frakes couldn't do it for some reason. He WAS Ashley!

Paul, who married Erin, was played by Morgan Stevens. He was cute. In the'90's movie he and Erin were divorced.

OMG YES!!! Quentin's theme!!! Remember that was a hit that became a 45 record and they played it on the radio around 1969? It was so popular on Dark Shadows that they made a record of it. My sister had the 45! I remember my cousin was staying with us for a couple weeks in the summer and my Dad took us all out for ice cream one evening. It was like a diner/ ice cream parlor type of place with jukeboxes at the tables . We found Quentin's theme on there and went CRAZY and played it, and my dad was like OK whatever!!! LOL!!!! Those were the days! As I said before on the movie thread, I was a little girl and I knew Quentin was good looking, but WOW now I really know what all the fuss is about!!! Marlene, you really should get the movie Night of Dark Shadows!!!

Josette's (Barnabas's love ) theme was also really cool and beautiful. Remember the music box that played her song?
