Starring Joyce Dewitt as herself

Theme Song:”Come and knock on her door (Knock on her door) She’ll be waiting for you and she’ll be in her bed and you’ll be in bed with Joyce Dewitt!”

This is a housekeeping show like Martha Stewart.

#1:”In bed with Dr.Suess”

(Joyce is on her bed)

Joyce:Hello I’m Joyce Dewitt and this is “In bed with Joyce Dewitt” my new housekeeping/interview show.On the show today is Kathy Nijimy who played a reporter in the film “In search of Dr.Suess” and we’ll be in my bed talking about her life and mine too.Plus we’ll go into the kitchen and make a delightful dessert so come on and get “In bed with Joyce Dewitt”

(Opening credits)

(Joyce and Kathy are on Joyce’s bed)

Joyce:I’m here with Kathy Nijimy

Kathy:Hi

Joyce:Now Kathy what is your FAVORITE meal?

Kathy:I LOVE Potroast

Joyce:Do you want to whip up a potroast?

Kathy:Sure!

(Joyce and Kathy are in the kitchen)

Joyce:Ok now this is my grandma’s pot roast.You take the potroast and put on:

Chili Powder
Celery salt
Salt
Pepper
Cayenne Pepper

Kathy:Oh it looks good already

Joyce:Now base it with egg wash and put it in the oven
(Joyce and Kathy are at the table)

Joyce:Well this is a potroast but it’s missing something

Kathy:A dessert!

Joyce:Good idea! An applesauce cake!

(Joyce and Kathy are in the kitchen)

Joyce:This is an easy applesauce cake

Kathy:Yum!

Joyce:Take a poundcake,frost it,cut it and put applesauce in it

(Joyce and Kathy are at the table)

Joyce:Well that’s the show.I want to thank Kathy and now let’s eat.By the way this is a nice white wine I’m drinking with my potroast and applesauce cake.I’ll see you next time when we’re in bed together!

Recipe courtesy Jacques Torres 3 pounds bittersweet chocolate1 pound 2 ounces whole dry milk powder Cayenne pepper 1 large stick cinnamon Finely grate the bittersweet chocolate. Place the milk powder, grated chocolate, and cayenne pepper in a large mixing bowl and combine thoroughly. Spoon the mixture into attractive tins or jars and tie the cinnamon stick to the jar. Label the jar with the following instructions: Use 1/2-cup of chocolate mixture with each cup of hot milk or water. When making the hot chocolate, be sure to boil the chocolate milk for at least 15 seconds. Use the cinnamon stick to stir. Serving with marshmallows is optional. Yield: about 4 pounds hot chocolate mixPrep Time: 25 minutesCook Time: Difficulty: Easy
