Crazy Ever look back at an old thread you started and said "What Was I Thinking?"

I don't remember any part of this thread from 11 years ago at all, I must have hit a button or something. Quite random.

Yes, but not here. I found some posts I made on a now defunct site via the archive site and was astounded I did so. I have done a 180 in my thinking on many issues and it's quite funny to see comments I made 10-15 years ago.

Oh No

Yes, but I'd rather talk about it personally.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Looking back at the politics board here I was quite extreme 7+ years ago. I have become a lot more moderate I guess.

I wasn't here 7 years ago, but my politics have definitely changed. Many years ago I was a pretty liberal Democrat but have switched to a more conservative independent leaning Libertarian.

That sure has happened, yes. But the opposite has also happened. Like I find something I wrote some time ago and think "wow, I was really smart".

I started an explicit sex story on here, calling it, "My Naughtiest Story Ever!" Needless to say, it was closed within an hour..... Granted, i had just visited a website that allowed posters to post explicit sex stories, and naturally, I came here, thinking I could write sex stories on here too. I was wrong.

That's happened to me a few times, when I come across a post that's really clever and well thought out, then I'm surprised to see I wrote it.

Usually posts I regret I'll just delete or edit, but that hasn't happened a lot.

Yes. I was a lot more desperate to get replies back then. I've grown since then
