Herr's are good and Utz isn't generic.

I do all my groceries at Target. They have the best quality around for most of the stuff. The only complaint I have is the one I normally shop at doesnt carry Maple flavored Bacon which my fiance loves

That's one reason I like them, the really brown ones taste great. I also like scorched popcorn.

I just shop at Wal Mart Supercenter. I get good prices on stuff there, and I don't have to worry about it being out of date. Wal mart is very strict on what they sell. But the other side to that coin is that they usually run out of stuff way before the expiration date. I have to admit, there fresh meats are pretty pricey. But I buy allot of the Tyson frozen Boneless skinless chicken breasts for 5.97. Darn good price too. I get about 6 to 7 very meaty pieces inside. I just pop 3 in the Microwave on a safe plate for 12 minutes, and I'm ready to eat.

I can't speak for your Walmart but the one where I'm from has been known to keep food on the shelf past it's expiration date. I've found yogurt, cheese, orange juice, bacon, etc... still on the shelf 2 weeks or longer after it expired and this store will not reduce an item's price that is nearing it's expiration date. The only foods they will reduce in price is bakery items.

I LOVE potato chips...Utz, Lays, Wise they all taste great to me. But these days I usually only eat baked potato chips, which taste great too. I like baked Lays, Trader Joe's and the Target brand. I keep my portions small - to 1/3 of an ounce.
