Default Favorite Commercial

What was your favorite commercial during the Super Bowl?

Mine was the first Bud Light commercial. The one that was the robot war. That was the funniest thing when that hammer came out of the fridge.

All in all, I was very disappointed in the commercials this year. I guess if you have a good game, you can't have good commercials, and vice versa.

I thought that by far Budweiser had all the best commercials. I liked the "robot wars mini fridge" one too, but the whole ripping on BattleBots schtick is getting a little old.

I also liked the one where they showed the Clydedales pulling the wagon and they pulled up to the NY skyline and bowed their heads. Beautiful horses, simple, yet powerful message.

Other than that, the dancing gerbil/rabbit Blockbuster one got a chuckle out of me, as did the woman/man buying a card (Bud).

I was really mad at Pepsi. In years past, Pepsi has had some of the best Superbowl commercials, and some of the best commercials ever made. All they offered up this year was that 3 minutes of Britney crap?!? Gaaaaag.....I mean yes I was expecting a Britney commercial, but they had other ones last year in addition to Britney.

My favortie commercial (I have 2) is the Lassie commercial. All the people need help and they're calling Lassie. Lassie help me I'm stuck. Lassie help me I need a push etc. So Lassie gets pissed and opens the yellow pages, and the next thing you know Lassie is being offered caviar from a grand dame. I love that commerical. :

Commercial #2 is the one where a lady is leaving the house and she sprays Febreze on the dog's cushion because it stinks. The dog thinks to himself. (Hmmph - We need to spray Febreze all over this house). So the dog sprays Febreze on everything that stinks and then the lady comes back home and smells the house and she says Hmm. the house smells nice....... and the camera pans back to the dog who has an innocent look. I love that commercial too.

***OOPS*** As you can see I just read the title Favorite Commerical and that's what I commented on! I didn't read the entire questions........ OOPS!

I agree, that one brought goosebumbs. When the horses came out I was all like cool, the Clydedales. But when I realized where they were I got chills, then when they all bowed there heads and "went down on a knee" (the equivalent of what horses can do, I just have no idea what it is called) then I got goosebumbs, but it wsa a good feeling. Very powerful statement.

I agree. I expected more of Pepsi then that. When they showed that first commercial I thought it was kinda cute. I thought for a minute there that they were going to do a commercial for each of those years and then do the recap again at the end, but they didn't. For that being the most expensive Super Bowl commercial I don't think they got their monies worth.

My favorite was the budlight one where the guy comes running up to his room and he jumps on the bed and the wife put on the satten sheets and he slides right off and out of the window that one was so hilarious and I also like the battlebot fridge one.

OMG... the levi's commercial!

Only his bottom half of his legs.. like from the knee down.. was moving. He was dancing along like nuts, and every once in a while the music would stop and he'd walk normal, then it'd start again, and he'd dance again. OMG, I was laughing so damn hard.
