Book Stores, they just pull me right inside. It doesn't matter if they sell new or used books either.

For me, it's Yankee Candles, there is a few stores nearby and I have to really watch how much I spend. I try to stop at $50-$60, although the bf can't comprehend spending $50 on candles.

Also, salt and pepper shakers. The Hallmark stores have some cool ones but they run about $15 for a set, so have to watch what I spend there, too. Back when I had more money, I would get about 4 sets at one time. I've been collecting these for over 20 years and I haven't counted lately but I'm sure I have over 400 sets.
Rest in Peace to my Penny-pie. You really were a GREAT dog. I'll see you at the Rainbow Bridge.

I would love to visit some record stores in your area especially since it's known for northern soul. I do find some of those around here but not very often. Most all of the records I've ever purchased have been bought for $1 or less and I sell some on eBay now and then.

If You are ever around the Pittsburgh area , there's a record shop called Jerry's Records in Oakland , and is one of the best in the country.

I enjoy Green Houses, Nurseries, and Garden Centers, esp. the larger ones.
I could and have spent hours walking through, looking at all the flowers and plants, looking at the latest varieties. Deciding how to tweak my landscape
every year. I love, love, love it!

For me it's 8 Track tapes, Reel to Reel tapes, and Betamax Tapes. Yes, Beta Max. I still have a Sony Betamax that is so big and weighs a ton. It has the keys on top for play and rec, etc, and still works good. Has a wired remote and pop up tape insert. It was made in 1979. Built like a brick.

I love this thread ZB!!

I collect anything that has to do with my idol Jacqueline Kennedy. Books, photo's, figurines, etc. She was one cool and elegant First Lady.

Of course I have a lot of Beatles stuff and Detroit Tigers stuff. But Anything new that I find about Jackie I grab!
