I haven't gotten any yet, there's so many movies being released now it's hard to keep up. The main ones I want are- Death Valley, The Town That Dreaded Sundown, The Video Dead/TerrorVision, Death Ship.

I swore I would get Death Ship if it was ever released and still haven't yet.
It's on my list.

It is actually from Scorpion Releasing, not Scream Factory.

Doh! That's right, I do have a few DVDs from Scorpion releasing including Humongous, and House On Sorority Row, both excellent releases. Humongous is probably one of the biggest improvements I've seen going from VHS to DVD, before you couldn't make out any dark/night time scenes, now you can see everything, plus the opening scene is no longer cut.

Olive Films is another newer release company that I've been impressed with, I have their release of The Boogens on Blu Ray and it looks and sounds fantastic.

Code Red is another one I like, but you have to be fast because their releases go out of print super quick. They've released films like Night Of The Demon (1980), Rituals, Don't Go In The Woods, Nightmare (1981).

Terrorvision/The Video Dead Blu ray is now $16.13 at Amazon.

Lowest price they have had for it (or that I have seen anywhere).

Prices change real quick, so it may be different next time you look.

That's a great price, especially for 2 movies.

I did buy Galaxina/The Crater Lake Monster Blu Ray double feature off of Amazon for about $4(including shipping), it was bare bones(they didn't even port over the audio commentary from the Galaxina DVD, thankfully I have the DVD, it's a great commentary), but the transfer on both were excellent. I was really amazed by the quality of The Crater Lake Monster.

I ordered Terrorvision/The Video Dead at the sale price.

It's now up to $18.98.

Now, another Scream Factory Blu is on sale - Prison
Currently at $16.16 on Amazon.

Never saw this movie, any good?

I'm definitely getting Q, I like all of Larry Cohen's film pre-It's Alive III.

Will also be getting The Vampire Lovers.

Movie "Schizoid" / "X-Ray" Update

From the SCREAM Factory's Facebook:

** EXCLUSIVE ANNOUNCEMENT **

Two long-lost slasher films from the legendary Cannon Pictures roster finally see their DVD and Blu-ray courtesy of new transfers!

1980's Schizoid (starring Klaus Kinski, Donna Wilkes, Christopher Lloyd and lots of scissor stabbings) is paired with 1982's X-Ray (also known as Hospital Massacre) starring Barbi Benton. If you're a fan of the mad killer sub-genre from this time period, you will definitely need this double bill for sure.

August release planned. More specific details (i.e. exact street date and extras) will be announced at a later date.

X-Ray FANS TAKE NOTE:

Our presentation of X-Ray is the full 89 min version - which is what Hospital Massacre was released on VHS in the 80s - and not the cut version that has, apparently, existed on overseas VHS copies or some cable airings.

We did our homework on this one.
