Humans are such easy prey.

H.P. Lovecraft's classic tale of suspense became "a grisly amalgam of sex, shock and satire" (Newsweek) in the hands of the creators of Re-Animator. And now, armed with shocking never-before-seen footage and special features and on Blu-ray for the first time, this "bloody good entertainment" (Time) has evolved into one of the most gruesomely riveting film experiences of all time!

The Resonator, a powerful machine that can control the sixth sense, has killed its creator and sent his associate into an insane asylum. But when a beautiful psychiatrist becomes determined to continue the experiment, she unwittingly opens the door to a hostile parallel universe... and to the deviant behavior within the human psyche.

With its victims becoming creatures who feed on - and become aroused by - human brains, the Resonator is the ultimate man-made monster. And now something's gone horribly wrong and no one can turn it off!

Directed by Stuart Gordon. Starring Jeffrey Combs, Barbara Campton, Ken Foree.

Movie "Swamp Thing" Update

From the SCREAM Factory's Facebook:

** EXCLUSIVE ANNOUNCEMENT **

Check out the official key art for our DVD & Blu-ray combo of Wes Craven’s Swamp Thing, which uses the original theatrical key art! Coming soon in August and more details will be revealed in the next couple of months.

As mentioned before (but bears repeating because we suspect not all of you are aware of it and it will be asked here), our HD presentation will be the 91 minute original as-seen-in-U.S-theaters cut of the film (the same version MGM has released on DVD since '05) and not the 93 minute "unrated" international version as we had originally hoped for.

This is due to legal issues that are out of our control and hope you understand.

What Scream Factory Blu Rays does everybody own?

I only have They Live.

I plan on getting The Fog (in July) and Night of the Comet (whenever it comes out).

Other serious possiblities include Terror Train,The Burning, and Phantasm II.
