Movie "The Vampire Lovers" Update

From the SCREAM Factory's Facebook:

** EXCLUSIVE ANNOUNCEMENT**

As already announced a couple of months back, The Vampire Lovers (1970) will be coming soon to the Blu-ray format for the first time. Although we can't share details on the street date and bonus features at this time, we can reveal our key art for it which was just approved.

As you will agree, sometimes you just can't beat original theatrical key art and this one is especially colorful and campy.

(We especially love the "Not for the mentally immature!" tagline.)

Enjoy!

James, what is the deal with Phantasm II being released first?
What happened to the original Phantasm?

I also see plans for the release of Scanners II.
What about the first Scanners?

Is it so hard to get the rights to these?

I don't know what the deal is w/ Phantasm.

Scanners II and III have never made it to DVD/Blu-ray in the U.S., so maybe they are releasing II first for that reason.

I enjoyed Phantasm II, but have not seen III or IV.

And I have not seen Scanners II or III.

What are your thoughts on those 4 sequels?

I haven't seen Scanners II and III either and it's been so long since I've seen the Phantasm sequels.

I'm only familiar with the originals.
