If you are an animal lover please watch Animal Practice Wednesdays on NBC. Contrary to some reviews I think it's one of the best, if not THE best new sitcom this year. It's certainly better than FOX's new sitcoms! AP is also unique, I don't recall any other sitcoms set at a vet's office. And it has Joanna Garcia, who Reba fans will remember as Cheyenne. Unfortunately Animal Practice got off to a poor start in its timeslot premiere, it needs help to get better ratings.

Guys with Kids is better than the FOX comedies but not something I'd watch on a regular basis.

The returns of the sitcoms Whitney and Community have been postponed. Originally set to return on 19 October, they will now return at a date yet to be determined. NBC has decided to continue focusing its promotional efforts on its current successful programming.

I'm sure all the haters are happy. Animal Practice deserved a lot better ratings and reviews. It's the best comedy NBC has aired since Frasier ended. At least there's still three more episodes that will air.

Yes. I haven't liked any of NBC's niche comedies in the unfunny line of 30 Rock and Parks and Recreation. As for this year, Guys with Kids is ok but nowhere near Animal Practice. Go On has its moments but Animal Practice is still better. And I refuse to watch The New Normal, I get tired of the gay agenda being shoved down my throat.

Wow NBC must really be trying to kill off it's hit series Revolution. Really it's taking a break from November until late March. I guess I'll go back to watching Hawaii Five-O once Monday Night Football is over.

NBC ANNOUNCES TWO-HOUR SEASON FINALE FOR ‘THE VOICE’ ON DECEMBER 18

Final 90-minute Performance Show Will Air on Monday, December 17 (8-9:30 p.m. ET) Followed by Sneak Preview of New Comedy Series “1600 Penn” (9:30-10 p.m. ET)


UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. – November 9, 2012 – NBC’s “The Voice” will decisively declare a winner when the intense vocal competition series concludes its third season with a live two-hour finale on Tuesday, December 18 (9-11 p.m. ET). The finale also will be preceded with a live, 90-minute final performance episode of “The Voice” on Monday, December 17 (8-9:30 p.m.ET) -- which will be followed by a sneak preview of NBC’s new comedy series “1600 Penn” (9:30-10 p.m. ET).

“1600 Penn” stars Bill Pullman (“Independence Day”), Jenna Elfman (“Dharma and Greg”) and Josh Gad (Broadway’s “The Book of Mormon”) – and concerns a typical American family who just happen to live in the White House.

The series will premiere in its regular day and time on Thursday, January 10 (9:30-10 p.m. ET). The sneak peek episode will also re-air that night from 8:30 - 9 p.m. ET.

“The Voice” features the strongest vocalists from across the country invited to compete in the blockbuster vocal competition show's third season. Celebrity musician coaches Christina Aguilera, CeeLo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton return along with Carson Daly as host and Christina Milian as Social Media Correspondent.

In the final live performance phase of the competition, the top artists from each team will compete each week against each other during a live broadcast. The television audience will vote to save their favorite artists and the two artists with the lowest number of votes will be sent home each week, no matter what team they are on. In the end, one will be named “The Voice” and will receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

“The Voice” is a presentation of One Three Inc. (a Hearst/Mark Burnett company), Talpa Media USA Inc. and Warner Horizon Television. The series is created by John de Mol, who executive-produces along with Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Stijn Bakkers and Lee Metzger.
In “1600 Penn,” the Gilchrists are just the average American family dealing with all the everyday issues – like a grown kid who’s forced to move back home, children who are smarter than their teachers and a stepmom (Elfman) desperately trying to win over the kids. They’re loving, fun and a little crazy. In other words, just like everybody else. With one exception: they live in a very special house. The White House!

Whether it’s entertaining foreign dignitaries, sneaking away for a night out, dealing with middle school crushes or putting out fires – figuratively and sometimes literally – there’s never a dull moment in the Gilchrist White House. For example, the First Son (Josh Gad, star of Broadway sensation “The Book of Mormon”) is one of the administration’s biggest liabilities, but also the glue that holds this family together. The President (Bill Pullman, “Independence Day,” “While You Were Sleeping”) knows too well that the only thing harder than being Head of State is being head of the family.

Also starring are Martha MacIsaac (“Superbad”), Andre Holland (“Friends with Benefits”), Amara Miller (“The Descendants”) and Benjamin Stockham (“Sons of Tucson”). “Modern Family” meets “The West Wing” in this election-year comedy from Emmy-winning executive producer/director Jason Winer (“Modern Family”).

The executive producers are Winer, Gad and Jon Lovett (former White House speechwriter). Winer also directed the pilot. “1600 Penn” is produced by 20th Century Fox.

Did NBC lose the rights to Miracle on 34th Street? It's sad they're airing an encore of the Macy's parade this year instead.
