Default That '70s Show - Seasons Three and Four (Mill Creek) DVD Reviews

That '70s Show - Season Three (Mill Creek)

Your favorite crew of the swinging '70s is back and funnier than ever! That '70s Show - Season Three arrives on DVD for a second time (originally released by Fox in 2005) from Mill Creek at a very low $14.98 MSRP! The three disc set contains all 25 episodes of the 2000-2001 season of the "retro" series which was a flagship series of Fox in the early part of the 21st century. In the third season, we see Hyde get in trouble with the law, Red getting stricter with the kids (or at least trying), Fez getting a girlfriend (even if she is psycho), and more. So rev up the Vista Cruiser for more hilarity and fun in That '70s Show - Season Three!

That '70s Show - Season Four (Mill Creek)

Boogie on down to the basement for another groovy season with our favorite friends from the '70s! That '70s Show returns to DVD with That '70s Show - Season Four, a Mill Creek value priced rerelease (originally released by Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment) of the hit Fox series from just a few short years ago. The three disc set contains all 27 episodes from the 2001-2002 season of the series, where we see the aftermath of the Donna and Eric breakup, Hyde moving back in with the Formans, Kitty wanting to redo the basement, and Donna deciding to relocate to California. It's another groovy adventure back to the '70s with all of your favorite characters!

That 70s Show was produced on film as opposed to video tape. The intended aspect ratio for the entire series was 4x3. As the show gets re-released in HD (Blu Ray and probably soon digital downloads) the edges of the frame will get enhanced and the top and bottom of each frame will be cropped slightly to make the 16x9 image. This is the same technique that was used with shows like Cheers, Friends and Seinfeld.

I'm not too sure why Mill Creek has a mixture of aspect ratios on their DVDs. I do expect that any further Blu Ray releases will likely be 16x9 for every episode.
