In the manner of previous releases for shows like Leave it to Beaver and Designing Women, Shout! Factory has today revealed an August 7th release of Dennis the Menace - 20 Timeless Episodes. This low-cost ($12.99 SRP) title is a 2-disc "best of" release aimed squarely at casual fans, and/or budget-conscious fans of the show who couldn't lay out the higher dollar amounts for the already-available season sets. Details of which episodes are included haven't been provided so far

I've already bought all four seasons so I won't be getting this unless there are new extras that weren't on those. But this does sound good for casual fans of the show.

That's a pretty good selection of episodes, but I'm surprised they didn't put any of the Christmas episodes on the set. Those were classics.

With a 22 episode set they could have included the two haunted house episodes in Season 1 & 3.....Both still crack me up......
