Actor Gary Sinise has cancelled appearances with his Lt. Dan Band after he suffered injuries during a car accident Friday.

The AP is reporting that the CSI: New York actor was a passenger in a car that was involved in the accident. Information regarding the extent of the 57-year-old actor’s injuries was not available.

Production has already wrapped on CSI: New York so the CBS drama was not affected.

It's funny though, since he's an actor, I would have thought this would have been big news.
