Wait, CHUCK isn't being offered? Talk was that syndication was most of the reason why they renewed it... to bulk up episode count for syndication! After the series finale this Friday, the series will have run 91 episodes.
Hope WPIX gives RULES the benefit of the doubt and gives it a cushy time slot, maybe post 2.5 Men? It might not get much buzz, but it does better than pretty much anything on NBC! It also is a sitcom that will likely do better in reruns than first run. |

I have not seen Chuck be mentioned at all, but sometimes a weekly gets in there very late.

From what I'm hearing, "Bethenny" is all but dead at this point. As I understand it, the series had issues getting enough clearances to really be a player. I've heard that Jeff Probst, Ricki Lake and Katie have been the shows gaining the most steam.

I'm pretty surprised at the lack of half-hour sitcoms being offered this year, only 2?

Bethenny is being tested on Fox-owned affiliates this summer, as indicated on the first post. So it has some life and has a chance. And yes, only two sitcoms with a lot coming in 2013 like Modern Family. |

/quote] Okay cool. Have these summer test runs ever turned into a national clearance? Other than Wendy Williams Show I can't recall this having ever worked. |

Oh yeah, that's right! MODERN, THE MIDDLE, PARKS AND RECREATION, and COMMUNITY if it gets a 4th season renewal. |

The thing is especially with the talk shows where are they going to put them? I mean everything is pretty full and with the exception of The Nate Burkas Show which is being cancelled, where are they going to go?

From what I understand, Katie Couric is going to ABC owned stations, Jeff Probst to NBC owned stations and Ricki Lake to FOX owned stations, but in some markets will air on CW stations. From what I've heard Betheeny was trying to get cleared on NBC or Fox stations but they had already committed. I've also heard that if Anderson Cooper had been canceled (he wasn't) that his slots would have gone to her. |

It's possible ABC will cancel The Revolution or General Hospital to bring in Katie. They will probably cancel The Revolution, move General Hospital to that timeslot, and air Katie at 3pm, a more prime timeslot than 2pm.

My gut says they will cancel both GH and The Revolution. I think they'll air Katie at 3pm and some new cheap ass talk show at 2pm. |
