"NCIS" EP Gary Glasberg Previews Season 9
"NCIS" Executive Producer Gary Glasberg Previews Season 9
by Catherine Lawson posted Sep 21st 2011 "NCIS" was back in a big way last night with the Season 9 premiere, which dealt with the aftermath of last season's cliffhanger finale. Now find out what executive producer Gary Glasberg says will be in store for fans over the rest of the season. One thing's for sure: There'll be lots of big-name guest stars, lots of twists and lots of humor. Glasberg told TVLine that "We're going to reopen the 'NCIS Family Album.' We're just wrapping up with Lily Tomlin as McGee's grandmother. That's a really fun storyline, and a big, McGee-centric episode that's not just about family; there's a procedural aspect to it as well." The perfectly cast Robert Wagner and Ralph Waite will be back playing Tony and Gibbs' dads respectively, and Glasberg teased that "in the first six episodes we're going to learn something about Abby's family and background that no one is going to see coming." He said that overall, Season 9 will see the NCIS gang functioning more as a unit, and that the presence of the new Secretary of the Navy (Matt Craven) will unite the team as never before. Oh, and there's good news for Ducky fans: David McCallum will get a storyline he can really get his teeth into. "I hope it's going to have people on the edge of their seat," said Glasberg, "because it gets into his personal life, then dovetails into a case as well." http://www.aoltv.com/2011/09/21/ncis...iews-season-9/ |
