Default News about why seasons of Alice are not on DVD from tvshowsondvd.com

It was stated by Warner Home Video that the sales from the Best of DVD were extremely low and that put a freeze on production for future seasons. It was also stated that there has been a problem obtaining the MASTER COPIES of the episodes.

So basically seeing a season one DVD release of Alice is not going to happen.

Also it was stated that Flo would not be released on DVD because they would never released a spinoff on DVD until the Parent show is complete on DVD.

Not good News i know but very informative.

Cool

It's a viscious circle. They won't sell season sets because sales of the best of sets were poor. But the reason those sales were poor is because people want season sets not best of releases.

Exactly, atleast do a 1st season test not a best of test with 4 episodes on the DVD. How can they make a accurate conclusion that there is no audience for the show if they don't test a full season? Ridiculous

Why have season 1 when it's a strong possibility no other seasons will follow?

Well I'm stuck with 6 seasons of the Jeffersons on DVD so I can only imagine having one season and waiting on the next 8.

But those episodes are not unedited. About a minute from each episode is missing!
