Remember the old Sara Lee commercial jingle ?
" Everybody doesn't like something, but nobody doesn't like Sara Lee " I had to listen to that a couple of times to find out they were not badmouthing their own product. Thats kind of what they do around voting time, they try to confuse people. VOTE YES IF YOU ARE AGAINST PROPOSITION A I always wondered if thats how some of these stupid things get passed, like tax increases and such. People don't take the time to read what they are actually voting for. One thing that isn't a mystery is when elected officials vote on their own pay raise, that always passes. |
