Default Was the Honeymooners a better 50's TV show than I Love Lucy?

The Honeymooners was set in mainly one room and managed to create tons of laughter with the reason being one guy Jackie Gleason. It was more real and ahead of it's time and seemed like a 70's tv show produced in black and white.

Did this show rule the 50's?

Both shows are great in their own way, but if I had to absolutely choose one, I would choose the Honeymooners.

I think they are both equally good in their own different ways.

For me, I love Lucy - never really cared for The Honeymooners.
