Exclusive: Bruce Davison to Preside Over "Drop Dead Diva's" Season Finale
June 27, 2011 by Natalie Abrams Bruce Davison has signed on to appear in the season finale of "Drop Dead Diva", TVGuide.com has learned exclusively. Davison, 65, will play Cyrus Maxwell, a long-sitting and well-respected judge who requests that Jane (Brooke Elliot) take on the case of a death row inmate. Although she's too afraid to say no, she's devoted to helping her client, even if it means at one point having to wake Maxwell in the dead of night to get him to court. "'Drop Dead Diva' is thrilled to welcome another stellar actor to the bench," creator Josh Berman says. "He is a revered actor and we are so lucky to have him."
