Assigned to buy 142 tickets to a Broadway play, our heroes can only find one dud that isn't sold out, because nobody will go to it. The play is too clean and wholesome.
Then the rumor gets started that the play is off-color, and then... True story: When "All in the Family" first came out, it was widely discussed, condemned, and defended. Most decent people refused to watch it. And then... Billy Graham publicly condemned the show. And then... It became even more popular. |
