Today (Monday) Sharon Osbourne confronted Gene Simmons about his criticism of "The Osbournes" on CBS' "The Talk":



It was printed in the press many years ago... many, many years ago before you started "Gene Simmons Family Jewels", it was reported that someone had asked you if you liked "The Osbournes" and you said 'no, because the kids are on drugs'.

So I came back with my rebuttal and there was something in some magazine where you said that 'there should have been a disclaimer in the beginning saying that if you drink you'd wind up like Ozzy Osbourne and he is sad'

Whatever was going on it was my husband's choice and he is not sad. So there we go.


Well, I think rightfully so that any mother would defend her family as well you should.

I honestly, as I look at you now right in the face, here's the God's honest truth I do not remember saying those things and if I did I was way out of line. Your family is your business and nobody has the right to say anything about it.

What a chicken...
With all due respect, Gene Simmons is usually a big mouthed bull****ter.Kiss never seems to change: I read an interview with them sometime last year, I think. And they were still going on - bragging about figures, and how they were the biggest band with the biggest show ever etc. Pathetic, really, and cynical, when it's all you have to say about your band.
I respect Ozzy a lot, and I don't think "The Osbournes" show harmed him or his image at all. Anyone who has an interest in him and Sabbath knows what he went through.Anyway...

The Osbournes was a thousand times more interesting than the Gene Simmons show, and that's not saying much. If we're trying to measure the most "normal" family, both shows are a joke, so who knows what they are fighting over. If this is a feud they'd better both start trying harder.
