Confused What the Heck Did Gomez Addams Do For A Living???

I know Herman Munster worked in a graveyard (I think) but what did Gomez do to pass the time of day? Was it ever revealed?

I think Herman Munster worked at a Funeral Parlor, as a grave digger. They just called it the Parlor. I don't think Gomez had a job. He was rich so he didn't need one. He once said to pugsley that no Adams has worked in over 200 years.

Gomez pased the time of day by kissing Morticia's arm and calling her 'Mi Amore'. He made his money by investing in the stock market, I think. He spent a lot of time looking at the ticker tape machine in the family living room.

Default Yes, Gomez was a VERY shrewd investor...

....that's why, in certain situations, he declared that "money is no object". Anyone as "eccentric" as him could also manipulate stocks, investments, and other "portfolios" to his own advantage....yet, among all that wealth, live "simply". In fact, one could also assume that Gomez's financial interests and personal wealth could very well affect the economy of the free world....
