I bought a steak dinner for my husband at Logan's Roadhouse, it was his birthday. I got the grilled meatloaf which has onions, mushrooms & gravy on it. That was my big purchase so far this week.

That sounds cool! I bought the new ones several days ago too because my previous ones broke which sadly happens rather often in this case...
I also bought several new T-shirts and a pair of new sneakers, I saw nice reviews about the peak shoes, like here http://stylemann.com/best-peak-shoes-review/ for example and I decided to try them
I bought this model, now I'm prepared for the warm seasons

Took my daughter to Powell Books (Portland, OR) today, spent a few hours there, and purchased a few books...

You're going to need another bookcase for all those books you bought. Our last used book store went out of business, I sure miss it. We only have a Books-A-Million now, and books there are expensive.

I bought another mouse for the desktop computer, the old one I'd have to click several times before it would actually work.

Ha yeah, we've got books crammed everywhere.

Many of the smaller used books shops have sadly closed.
