Very cool! I LOVE JC Penney. They have the best selection of clothes!

I bought Valentines. Just silly little cute ones for my sons, my Dad, sister and some friends. Didn't by my hubby's romantic one yet.

Cool

Here's some more couponing pointers if anyone is interested.

Most all major supermarkets have their coupon policies online so familiarize yourself with them. What will work at one store may not at another.

Here's a good example, one store I frequent often will not accept any internet coupons that involve free products including those where a purchase is required.

New sales start in my area on Wednesdays and are usually posted online between 10pm (Tuesday) - 12:00am.

Try to shop at stores that offer double coupons (not all do)

Super-doubles are the best time to shop, stores that double will only do so if the coupon has a face-value of .99 cents or less. During super-doubles week this increases to $2.00 but triples are still .99.

Sunday paper coupons are great but try to avoid buying them from racks because there's people that will steal them and leave the rest of the paper behind.

Most papers will offer their unsold copies the following Monday at original cost but you may get a discount for quantity. It's a great way to obtain extra coupons for really good deals.

If printing at home, the printer you use can make all the difference because if the coupon won't scan, some stores will refuse it while others will override or key-it-in.

I use a HP Photosmart C-5180 which requires 4 color and 1 B&W cartridges
I get my ink from Ebay and pay about $6.00-$8.00 for all 5 refilled carts which includes shipping and have never had a problem.

There are several online sites for printing including Red Plum, Smart Source, Coupons.com, etc...

Most prints have a limit of 2 and if the coupon fails to print you're often out-of-luck but not always. If you've run out of paper just put some in and hit ok and the coupons will print.

Most stores also have digital coupons that you can load to your rewards card. These are great if you don't have a paper coupon but they're accepted at face-value only

If you can find a store that allows stacking then you can save even more. Stacking is when you have a paper coupon and a digital one for the same product. For example, if you have a paper coupon for $2.00 off one DiGiorno pizza and a digital one, you can use both to save $.4.00 and this also works with super-doubles so your savings would be $6.00.

Digital coupons will only work once per-item, if you have 3 pizzas and 3 paper coupons you can use them all but not digital

Each store's coupon policy should let you know if stacking is accepted plus any limits on doubling/tripling coupons. Stores in my area have a limit of 20 per-day.

If coupons say do not double or triple then the policy is upheld unless the cashier doesn't bother looking and just scans them. You can see it on the screen if it doubles and wasn't supposed to. It's the cashier's job to check first, not yours to let them know that it says no doubling.

Above all else stay organized as much as possible. Nobody wants to stand inline behind someone trying to find or sort through coupons.

You can also use coupons at Dollar Tree as long as they're $1.00 or less and you can get some good deals if you have the patience because even though they accept them the cashiers will go over them with a fine-tooth-comb.

New knee-high military-style combat boots.

Got them from one of those leather stores in Greenwich Village.

What are you going to wear them to/for JamesG? Or is this another thing that might shock this old gal?
