Default "Capes For the Unemployed" in ...Florida !

full story: http://www.wftv.com/news/27603869/detail.html

A Florida unemployment agency decided to give 6,000 red capes to the jobless as part of its "Cape-A-Bility Challenge" public relations campaign. The capes cost $14,000 and featured a cartoon character named "Dr. Evil Unemployment." As one might imagine, officials are calling for an investigation to be launched. It's a good thing there are an abundance of caped do-gooders without jobs in the area who should be able to help.

Thumbs down

Why not put a red "U" for unemployed on them instead?? As if the unemployed didn't feel bad enough already. Talk about adding insult to injury!!!

Oh No

This reminds me of the "Scarlett Letter"! Only that was intended as a punishment. Unemployed people shouldn't be punished for being unemployed!!

A very FLAKY and half baked idea. This employment agency certainly doesn't sound like any great shakes.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - "Inmates (We're All Crazy)" by Alice Cooper should really be Florida's state song.

The person who dreamed up this red capes for the jobless idea should be forced to wear a red 'S' for stupid.

They should have done something more useful with that money, like taking all those unemployed folks to lunch or just simply gave it to them.
