The Sweathogs On Barney Miller (???) - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I have an old Sitcoms book, and in it, there is a photo of the cast of Barney Miller and in the jail behind them is the Sweathogs of Welcome Back Kotter. I know they both ran on ABC. Was there an episode of Barney Miller with the Sweathogs? A friend of mine swears there was, but maybe it was a publicity photo by ABC. An episode guide I read showed negative. Any feedback?

I was a big fan of both shows when they were on and I don't believe there ever was a crossover. it sounds more like a publicity photo that TV Guide might run, but it also could be computer generated by a fan and circulating the net. Sounds like a cool pic though.

Wouldn't it be something if Sheriff Andy Taylor and Deputy Barney Fife from the Andy Griffith show made guest appearances on Barney Miller?

That would be great, I would love to see that. They could do some sort of law enforcement convention.

I don't think the Sweathogs were ever on Barney Miller or visa versa.

That would have been cool to have Welcome Back Kotter and Barney Miller crossover
