My favorite is Stan because he's such a bullsh*ter and it cracks me up how he always says "Hi.It's me, Stan" when Dorothy opens the door (as if she doesn't know who he is).

I only found out a couple of weeks ago that the actor who plays Stan passed on in 96. Unfortunately we don't get any news on these actors in Australia. I have to rely on the net.
Anyway, both Miles and Stan were great characters, but Stan was such a meat head, he was hilarious.

I know, it was very sad about Herb Edelman passing so prematurely. I have a friend who has a tribute to Herb/Stan at http://www.geocities.com/sicilian_gecco/stan.html and it's really sweet

Miles was a sweetie & a cutie, but I love the Stick Man!! Yeah, the character is basically a jerk, but he also had his lovable moments -- which is why Herb Edelman was the perfect choice to play Stan; I just can't imagine that anyone else could have played lovable pond scum as well as he did.

Sam, thanks a bunch for pointing members to my tribute!!

I liked both of them. Was Miles really cheating on Rose?

Wink Golden Guys

I liked Stan also...esp when he would wear all of his toupee's. But then sometiems he woud be totally bald. The episode yesterday was where Miles was Rose's dance partner and he invited her to his house to meet his friends...Rose didn't have a good time there with all of his professor friends.

Here's a quote from the conversation between Rose and Miles.

Miles: What did you think when I said I taught Hemingway?

Rose:I thought you were old!
