Confused To those of you who have seen "The Price is Right:LIVE!"-

Is it anything like the daytime version of "The Price is Right"?

no the rules are different, if you get called on down you have 1 chance to get on stage and play a game, once you play a game, and do the wheel you are done. they call new ppl up just for the final showcases.
you are also given the option if you win a big prize of taking the money value of the item, at the price THEY paid for the product (not the ARP) and can take the money, or you can take the prizes..

after each game is played, 4 new ppl are called on down.

it ensures as many ppl as possible get to "participate"
they also give away random "casino based" prizes to audience members at random so as much of the ppl at the show can win something..

i was lucky enough to see a show hosted by todd newton.

when the show was in atlantic city (which it will be for a special 1 month run in april), you have to take a test before the show pricing "Classic" items on a computer and are timed, phones are banned so you cant cheat.. they will watch you), and the ppl with the best scores are called on down to the show.. in vegas, its a free for all.. anyone can be called down..

How does that work then we see people there from the beginning to the end trying to bid to go on, not just 1 and done.

hes talking about the vegas/ac show.. not the tv show

they call 4 ppl down. the winner of the bid goes to the game and wheel, the other 3 get a tshirt and return to the audience.. then 4 new ppl are called in.. thats how they run the show so as many ppl can get on the "show" as possible.. it doesnt follow the tv rules for that...
