By that,I mean which TV shows(1960's-2000's)had promising pilots, but the series left a lot to be desired?I can think of 2 of them:All were flop series-1)"Senior Year",the 1974/CBS/Universal TV pilot for the flop "Sons and Daughters"was promising, but the series left a lot to be desired,2)NBC's 1975 Universal TV pilot "The Invisible Man"with David McCallum(from "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.")was a good pilot, but a not very good series. And a question:Why is this?Know of any others?Feel free to post.

![]() But to answer your question, FlashForward immediately comes to mind. I'm sure there are others.

I agree about "THE INVISIBLE MAN". I can't think of any others.

I thought the Undercovers pilot had a lot of promise but then it went downhill.
Also Lonestar I watched the first one but the second one didn't grab me so I stopped. |
