Default Hard to believe the promos and commercials that Liz made

Sometimes it's totally in character on the set, other times not. But damn, there were a lot of them and they're never included on the dvd's so you'd never know they existed if you hadn't seen the program when it aired and remembered some of them (or saw them on youtube )....

Cereal? Seriously? Cute ending! I wonder how much she pulled down for doing this?

And what I don't get,is that on the Dick York as Darrin color years, she said in the promos for those years, she said "Hi.Stay tuned for "Bewitched"-next in color. But in the latter Dick Sargent as Darrin years, she said "Hi.I'm Elizabeth Montgomery.Stay tuned for Bewitched.Next-in color."Was it HER idea to change the promo,so it would include her name,or was it ABC's?

Yes, I'd seen the first one. It's VERY cute.
Thanks for both!

Just proof that if Bewitched were a CBS release or released by Shout!, we would have had original sponsor openings and promos, tons of extras. Sony sucks in this regard.

I meant the number of them. Something that certainly we don't get to see on the DVDs or on re-broadcasts. I didn't know how often the show could be used to tie into products during the half hour broadcasts. Hell, the original endings sometimes had the Sam/Darrin cartoons sitting on a Chevrolet logo.

All kinds of stuff we don't get to see now that was originally broadcast. Wish we could get it all back.

I liked the one that was a special that featured the Bewitched and Bonanza cast introducing the new cars for 1965, it was very cool all were in character.

At the time of the "Darrin Switch," Liz was given above-the-title billing. You may have noticed that the opening credits (and even the DVD boxes) for seasons 6-8 say "Elizabeth Montgomery in Bewitched." Likely, her name was added to the promo for the same reason.
