Yeah I always really liked this theme, too.

The theme song is THE reason I always loved the show! As a young kid, I always loved the song even if I didn't always understand everything. I was only 2 when the show started. But as a kid, I was always in love with the song. Even today, I have to admit I still have to listen to it and smile.

Certainly one of the Top 5 tv show themes in my book for sure. I'm also a big fan of the theme to Ironside (Quincy Jones) and What's Happening (which I think is a Mancini composition).
