Caitlin Burke, from New Jersey, shocked host Pat Sajak on Wheel of Fortune by asking to solve a seven-word phrase with only one letter revealed – an "L". She appeared on the show last week. [MSN NZ]
Burke, a magazine fashion editor correctly solved the puzzle with "I've got a good feeling about this" to win a holiday in the Caribbean. The clue was "phrase." According to NJ.com, Burke grew up in the Clinton Township. She often watched games shows “Jeopardy” and “Wheel of Fortune” during dinner and competed against her parents Robin and Tom. In high school when classmates talked about their goals, Burke shared hers: "Someone would say, ‘I want to be a vet,’" says Burke. “I said, ‘I want to go on Wheel of Fortune.’" According to the Daily Mail, Burke landed her a stay at a spa resort in Grenada, worth around $6,500. Sajak remarks? "Is it just me or was that the most amazing solve we've ever had?" he said. http://www.break.com/index/wheel-of-...letter-1948975

I saw the episode last Friday Night(Nov.5),and as I posted earlier, everyone(including Pat)was stunned. And I don't think she cheated, either, because years ago the same thing happened-In that instance,it was during the "speed-up round"-the puzzle was song title-"Take Me Home Country Roads",the male contestant called "T"(there were 2 that time),and answered the puzzle correctly. He wasn't penalized, either. In short,in both cases,it was just luck.Boy,was it ever.

That was an amazing solve! However she did really well with the other puzzles, too.
I loved the look on Pat's face! |

Did anyone ever name a song in one note on "Name That Tune"? Now that would be amazing!
