8pm-2am is just blah. ELR was good when it started but between that, locals, TBS...it's just gotten tired. They FLY through the episodes. I wish they would air something other than The Nanny on Saturday and Sunday mornings, it's on Nick at Nite enough.

I take it The Beverly Hillbillies will not be renewed. They aren't airing any of the Christmas episodes this year. Funny because it seemed to do so well when they aired it in 2008 and even in to last year. Sad to see what the "Merrython" has become.

I guess Retired at 35 will air at 10:30 after Hot in Cleveland?

Default TV Land's 11th Annual Merrythron

What has happened to TV Land's Merrython?! They use to air a 48 hour Christmas Merrython all day Christmas Eve and Christmas Day back in 1999, 2000, 2001, etc... Plus they aired rare Christmas episodes from TV shows TV Land weren't currently airing (or never aired)...Shows like: Hazel, Dennis the Menace, Flo, Head of the Class, The Patty Duke Show, Petticoat Junction, Delta, Julia, The Partridge Family, Just the Ten of Us, That Girl, The Odd Couple, The Brady Bunch, Operation Petticoat, The Facts of Life, I Love Lucy Christmas...the list goes on. Don't get me wrong, I like the Christmas episodes they are airing this year but it would be nice to see the others too...mix it up a bit and make the Christmas episode airings special not just the same old, same old! Also...the movie "Independence Day" is being shown during the Merrython on Christmas Day...TV Land needs to stick to just Christmas themed TV shows and movies during their special Holiday airing. Independence Day?!?! Why not White Christmas? The Gathering? Elf? "Home Alone, Miracle on 34th Street, A Very Brady Christmas, or even It's a Wonderful Life? Thanks for letting me voice my opinion and Merry Christmas to all!

That's an interesting (and not bad) change. IMO, they should move Three's Company to 1AM since that's around the time it seems to do very well. Seems like it would do better than The Nanny.

Home Improvement moved to a worse slot...wouldn't surprise me if it's gone eventually. Kind of an odd fit between Three's Company and M*A*S*H. They could always do an extra hour of M*A*S*H from 4-5am again which would quietly remove HI.

This isn't for TV Land December 2010, but The King of Queens comes to TV Land in 2013 (and Spike TV next fall):

http://blog.sitcomsonline.com/2010/1...-spike-tv.html

Read the story to see what will happen with King of Queens on TBS as well.

The only thing I watch on TVLand is the black and white Dick York as Darrin episodes of "Bewitched",and "Hot in Cleveland"-Other than that,I've had it with TVLand. And I think the days of "classic"TV from the 1950's and 1960's is over.(Yeah,I know classic TV is in the eye of the beholder). At least on TVLand. It sure isn't the way it used to be.

Ugh, what a disappointment, but at least it won't be on for a long time. KoQ is terribly overexposed and overrated. I hope it isn't run to death like Everybody Loves Raymond, but I'm sure it will be. They must be trying to become TBS 2.

BTW, they have used some really stupid scheduling with ELR; they are airing the 4-part episodes with the feud between Debra and Marie (season 6 in to 7). They showed the first 3 parts Sunday from 10:30-12am, then other season 6 episodes after that. Finally pt. 4 will finally air at 9:30 tonight. HUH? All 4 parts should have been shown in order.

Off the clock is back too....ugh.

Yeah,as for that part about Off the clock being back,Monday morning they showed "Bewitched",AND EVERYTHING ELSE ....5 minutes earlier than the time they're supposed to air....triple ugh...Does anyone know WHY TVLand has seen fit to use the "off the clock?"
