Default Happy Reformation Day!

For all the Lutherans as well as some Protestants out there...today is your Independence Day!

Martin Luther really DID give the Catholic Church a Trick-or-Treat gift that they'll NEVER forget!

SOME Protestants?? I thought all Protestants came about because of the stance of Martin Luther at the door of the church of Wittenburg in 1517 (the nailing of his 95 theses criticizing the Pope's decrees,
particularly in the case of the sale of indulgences as a sort of method of
"buying" one's way out of sins and the possibility of Purgatory).

Well...all Protestants do like Martin Luther's rebellion against the Catholic Church, but some other Protestants are more into the other Reformers like Calvin, Wesley, and Henry VIII Himself.

Cool

I'm a protestant and in our church we don't celebrate Reformation Day although we do trace our roots back to Martin Luther posting his 95 theses on the church door in Wittenburg as being the start of the protestant reformation.
