I think in those cases it was because certain episodes were played more than others (as in marathons and such) or were planning to be played for a special event in the future. To compensate and keep airings of each individual episode equal, they need to skip certain ones in the regular cycles.

I hope that the ones from season 5-onward that were skipped will air eventually so I can complete my collection.

They did air the 3 parter at the Dude Ranch I got those but they are skipping a few.

I also noticed in a couple season 1 episodes Richie had a poster on his bedroom wall, which is for some type of car race it has a conferderate flag on the poster and it can be seen in the backround in a few scenes on the Hub they blur it out instead of skipping the scene or the episode.

They probably need that scene in the episode so they just blurred it out.

I noticed that too! At first I thought I was seeing things. Is this something that the Hub is doing, or have other channels done it before?

Wow. They're going a little too far with this censorship thing. It seems as though anything that might be remotely offensive to anyone is blurred or bleeped by The Hub (not just for Happy Days). It was okay to show it 35 years ago but not now? What's changed?
