I wish DFW could get a station w/ this kind of schedule. KFWD-TV, ch. 52, has some good shows, but a lot of its shows are reruns of the same daily garbage from WFAA-TV, like Dr. Oz, Oprah Winfrey, and The Insider.

I remember when my local independents could be counted on for good old classic programming.....now one of them airs nothing but court shows all day long!! the other airs all the syndicated talk shows that the major affiliates didn't want.

Nothing but talk shows and judge/court/reality shows all day, with The CW/MyNetwork at night. I guess it just costs more than they're willing to spend...

WOW! That is a super-impressive schedule. Very well-balanced and varied and I love that the classic dramas get the primetime slots. I think it is well-thought out.
Too bad I'll never be able to watch this station... |

I can't even tell you how thrilled I was when I found this channel by mistake last week!

We have another independent station here similarly titled "The Tube". Several years ago it would air "Beaver", "Lucy", Andy Griffith", "Alfred Hitchcock Hour". Unforunately, as clj2 complained, that station has also gone the route of newer shows, reality show repeats and court shows. I loathe that channel now and haven't watched it in years. "The Kube" is such a welcome sight. For now at least. Until it too decides to go the trash route. But for now I'll enjoy. Especially "Alfred Hitchcock Presents"! So glad it's on the schedule even if it's only twice a week. |

^I remember seeing The Tube when I visited my cousins in Houston many years ago and was envious they had such a great station. Sad that it has departed from what made it good.

You can check out 2-2 in Houston. It plays lots of movies and some old show. Usally you need an antenna. Our Northland Cable has it on Free digital side |

For me 22 is the Cartoon Network. Might you be talking about This TV? They play a lot of older movies and a few old TV shows such as "The Outer Limits" and "Patty Duke". |
