Balthazar Getty is Leaving Brothers & Sisters
The Walker clan will be down another family member when Brothers & Sisters kicks off its fifth season this fall. Sources confirm to me exclusively that Balthazar Getty—who appeared in a reduced number of episodes last season—will not be returning to the show.
Per a B&S source, Getty’s departure was a creative decision. I’m told Tommy’s absence will be explained in the Sept. 26 premiere—which picks up one year after the tragic events of the May finale. Getty’s exit brings to three the number of major cast members not returning this season. As you know, Rob Lowe (Robert) and Emily VanCamp (Rebecca) are moving on as well, although VanCamp will be back for a handful of episodes to wrap up her storyline. http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2010/08/...thers-sisters/
