Shocker: Former WWE CEO Says Wrestling "Isn't Real"
Jun 25, 2010 by Gina DiNunno Ladies and gentlemen, it's official: WWE wrestling is fake. Connecticut U.S. Senate candidate Linda McMahon, trying to quell voter concerns about her old job as the CEO of World Wrestling Entertainment, admits in a new ad that it wasn't a "regular job" — and also lets it slip that the wrestling "isn't real." That sound you hear is grown men all over the country weeping. In the ad, the Republican described WWE wrestling as a "soap opera that entertains millions every week," showing footage of herself in the ring with the organization's star wrestlers. Calls to the WWE were not immediately returned. http://www.tvguide.com/News/WWE-Wres...e-1019915.aspx |
