Cool Bret Michaels Wins This Season's "Celebrity Apprentice"

Bret Michaels Plans "Celebrity Apprentice" Finale Appearance
by Andrew Scott
posted May 15th 2010

Talk about a speedy recovery:

Only weeks after he was hospitalized for suffering a brain hemorrhage, rocker/television personality Bret Michaels is already plotting his return to the small screen.

According to PEOPLE, Michaels is planning to attend the live "Celebrity Apprentice" finale next Sunday, May 23 on NBC.

"We really hope that Bret is well and able to join us at the finale," host Donald Trump told PEOPLE. "I have much respect as he is a fighter and strong competitor."

Michaels is one of five remaining celebrities in the competition.

Bret Michaels Still Plans to Be on "Celeb Apprentice" Finale
By Anne Marie Cruz
Friday May 21, 2010

Bret Michaels is definitely a man with a mission:

After suffering a small warning stroke, the rocker still has his sights set on showing up at the May 23 finale of NBC's "The Celebrity Apprentice".

"As far as I know, Bret will be there unless his doctors tell him otherwise," says his rep of Michaels, who would be facing off against Holly Robinson Peete in the final boardroom evaluation with Donald Trump.

"We're cautiously optimistic that he will attend the finale," continues the rep. "But ultimately, it's up to his doctors."

I watched it. I was kinda disappointed because I thought Holly deserved to win. But they both got money (250,000) to their charities. That is what is really important. I got to work with them both on the show and they were good people.

I agree. Holly deserved it. But I knew Bret would win no matter what due to his recent health scares.

They said on the news that even Holly's son was rooting for Bret to win.

I also thought Holly was going to win, but I'm glad Bret won, given what he went through.
