Biggrin TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE EPISODE NEEDED

Hello I am in need of 1 episode of TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE: SEASON 4
the episode is entitled "MARY,MARY". I know there are older sets that may feature this episode but from the half dozen or so sets I've seen are of vhs quality contain "shakes" tracking issues etc. Preferably one of the more recent Chiller channel or Syfy airings dvr rip would be excellent. I have the remaining seasons upgraded and solid quality and hope to put a 22 disc set (homebrew)into circulation at some point upon finding this episode. Not to trump anyones work but this series deserves the full original unedited treatment. I had the ep or so I thought but the reminder bar from dvr obstructs the viwing so therefore it didn't make the cut. Willing to trade for proper print of this.

Most of the sets I see out there (mostly on sell.com) are the 6 disc set, which is downright WRETCHED. Like 15 episodes to a disc and some of them have barely audible sound. The best set out there IMO is the one that jtmovies91 authored from chillertv recordings I believe. I have been trying to acquire that one, but haven't been able to yet - trading is pretty slow these days.

Yes with those sets it like peoples organs are being pushed out, I'm down to this one episode and there are no tentative airdates for this particular episode "MARY,MARY" once this slot is filled I will put the 22 disc set into rotation.

I checked out the Mary Mary episode and it has good audio with a somewhat fuzzy picture. Not bad not great.

No thanks on that source , the whole purpose of my search is to seek upgrades for all episodes of T.F.D, no plans for substituing or degrading quality on this one. Mary,Mary is the final episode to complete a 22 disc set that I plan to author and circulate for true T.F.D. fans. For me the 6&7 disc sets don't cut it for me. However I appreciate your interest in this project.

You guys know that the first 3 seasons have been released commercially on DVD right? Season 4 should be coming out by the end of this year or next year. You can check the TV Shows on DVD website for news updates and if you vote for a partcular show, the site e-mails you the latest news items on it and release dates.

the retail sets are horrible and extremely unpopular. They replaced the original music with new music and it's wretched.

Yeah, but you know you'll be getting much better video quality. If the music is so bad, then why doesn't somebody copy the retail sets with the original music dubbed in? I have a couple of the bootleg sets and will be looking forward to not only better video quality, but seeing some of the episodes without anything missing. I think I have a set from JTMovies91 as well, so I'll have both original and retail sets. Another good show Chiller reran for a while was the 1985 Alfred Hitchcock Presents series, so there's probably good quality sets of both shows recorded off of Chiller TV floating around online somewhere.

Oh No RE:

1st of all copying the retails and using them as fillers totall defeats the purpose, I doubt this guy above me has any idea why this thread was even started. Here's the rehash I am seeking one episode to complete an entire series set unedited. If you prefer one of your favorite meals without the primary ingredients, great more power to you its totally okay to open wide and accept what someone else would like to "dish" out. There really are more cons than pros to it. What if they decided to retool scooby doo as a poodle or something? The whole basis of this is to share something with its original integrity thats it.

Uh yeah I know exactly why this thread was started. I obviously didn't know that the retail sets had the music changed, which is why I suggested buying them in the first place. There's no need to insult me and treat me like some kind of idiot, especially when it was completely unprovoked. Good luck in finding what you're looking for, by the way.

Lightbulb RE:

I was not insulting anyone, merely associating facts of disregard with the retail release versions of this series. Its sad to nip tuck anyones creative vision expressed in any type of medium. I think you fell into the thread misinformed before chiming in.

JTMovies91 authored a set of the 1985 Alfred Hitchcock Presents series, and it's very well done.
