Default Larry Hagman Never Hosted Saturday Night Live

To the best of my knowledge he has never hosted this show( I could be wrong, I dont watch it). That said, forget the talk about these other people hosting SNL, Hagman is the only candidate. I admit as much as I dislike SNL, if they got Hagman to host, I would watch.

^ I think you're right.

At first I was surprised at this revelation, but in the early days of SNL they didn't always feature the "flavor of the week" celeb like they do now; if they had, obviously Larry would have been chosen since Dallas was pretty hot until at least the mid Eighties.

I don't know if he'd want to do live TV; he's definitely his own man and he might balk at doing something new after all these years. But I agree, it's worth a shot and he's done a lot of comedy work in his life.

Barbara Eden, you may ask?In addition to Jeannie, she was reunited with Larry Hagman on Dallas,as oil baroness LeeAnne de la Vega, who J.R. impregnated years earlier, and schemed to gain control of Ewing Oil.Was she ever asked to host "SNL(Saturday Night Live)?

Charlene's show was the infamous 1981 episode where Charles Rocket dropped the f-bomb live on the air during the "Who Shot Charles Rocket" sketch at the end of the show.

I don't think either of them would be funny or a good fit. Anyway, you know that tomorrow's show is the last show until October, right ?

Anybody would be an improvement over some of the players they have had on that show over the years.
