What happened at UFC 112 the antics Dana White was talking about?

I asked around to a few MMA bloggers. Here is what one told me:

"Anderson Silva embarrassed himself and the UFC by "dancing around" for nearly 2 1/2 rounds of his fight against Demean Maia. It was disrespectful and the UFC, Dana and the MMA community are all pretty shocked that Silva would do this.

He decided to just step away from the fight and start "dancing" for pretty much the last three rounds.

Dana White has said that he will make it up to the fans but he doesn't know how he will do it just yet...hope this helps."
