Default Corey Haim, John was his favorite actor!

I saw a youtube video of Corey Haim, the 1980s teen star, that recently died, mention that John was someone he looked up to growing up, & admired! IF you like to see the youtube clip, search under "ME, MYself, I, & Corey Haim"
Also thought it was interesting that Corey co-starred with Priscilla Barnes in the 2002 film "Backlot Murders".

Cool

Very cool! I wonder if John and Corey ever got a chance to meet when they were both still alive.

Hi Catlover! I wondered that myself if Corey & John met maybe at a premiere or something. I have to say when John died, I was really SAD Because John was my first crush, & of course grew up on 3'sCompany, & when Corey died, I remember being 12 back in '87 & I had posters of Corey in my room, so when I saw that Corey said that he looked up to John as an actor that really got to me! BOTH also died way too YOUNG. John at 54, & Corey at 38!

Hi Koala!! This will make your day - Chris Mann, who wrote the Three's Company book Come & Knock on Our Door, is in the process of writing John Ritter's biography. They stayed in touch until John's passing. Here is Chris Mann's WAY cool site:

Chris Mann is a great and extremely funny guy. I've gotten to know him over the past few months on Facebook.

I just saw John's son Jason not too long ago on an episode of NCIS: Los Angeles. I cannot get over how much they look and sound alike. It's almost like seeing and hearing a ghost. I think Jason is the only one of John's 4 kids in show biz (at least in front of the camera). Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Carly and Stella have at least one extra credit. I think Tyler is the only one who totally stayed away but I'm gonna have to check imbd again.

Thanks! Did John's first wife, Nancy, ever return to acting?
