"Access Hollywood" Launching A Spinoff Talk Show - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

NBC Uni Domestic TV Distribution is expanding its "Access Hollywood" franchise with a one-hour daily entertainment news talk show offshoot.

Titled "Access Hollywood Live," the show will launch on six NBC owned-and-operated stations in September, replacing the departing "The Martha Stewart Show," which is moving to the Hallmark Channel.

"Access Hollywood Live," which will focus on celebrity, Hollywood and fashion and will feature in-studio guests and a cast of regular contributors, will run on WNBC-TV New York, KNBC-TV Los Angeles, WMAQ-TV Chicago, KNTV-TV San Francisco, KNSD-TV San Diego and WVIT-TV Hartford.

It will originate from Los Angeles and will be executive produced by Rob K. Silverstein.

"Access Hollywood Live" joins another new addition to the daytime lineup of NBC's O&Os -- new talk show "Nate Berkus" -- while "Deal or No Deal" is ending its syndicated run.

It would be the same as if the bubonic plague created a "spin-off disease" called "Bubonic Coreopsis Live".
