Default New Blog Feature: Sitcom Stars on Talk Shows for the Week

We are previewing a new feature on the blog today -- sitcom stars on talk shows for the week. We will have it every Friday after the normal news, but we are launching it today as a preview.

What do you think of this? Check out the first one: http://www.sitcomsonline.com/blog/20...th-season.html

Any comments? Suggestions? We tried to cover every sitcom star -- past and present -- we can find on any talk show for the week. We can only cover national stuff and not locally produced shows (so if a sitcom star appears on WPIX's morning news or KTLA's morning news, we can't cover it).

You'll see something like this every Friday from here on out on the blog. So, you know where to go to find a sitcom star on a talk show for the coming week!

Cool

First of all let me say that I appreciate having this information made available as part of the blog. However I think it would be easier to find the information I'm looking for if it was put in a list rather than as text in a paragraph. A list for each day starting with daytime talk show appearances followed by the nighttime shows might make it easier to find specific shows or specific people than having to read through paragraphs of text. Just an idea.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll see what I can do, but we just don't want a plain listing because then there is no detail in it.

I agree, some type of listing would make it easier to find out which stars are on which shows each day & then maybe at the bottom of the page you could go into more detail about it. It would just make it easier for people who want to quickly browse it & decide which talk shows they want to watch or record for the day. And they can always come back to it, to read more of the details. Just a suggestion.

Oh and I really like this new blog feature! I've already planned to record several of the talk shows mentioned in it. Great Idea!

I like the adjustments you have made to this feature Pav! I can look down the left side of the page and quickly pick out which sitcom stars I'm interested in seeing. And in those cases I can read further information about the appearance. I also like how you have each day of the week as a separate list. That makes it very easy to know what day of the week an appearance is taking place. All the information I'm interested in is now very easy to find within this feature. I really appreciate all the work you've done in developing this feature!

I'm just looking for some clarification. In the blog it says that Tim Meadows will appear on the Late Late Show with David Letterman on Friday June 25. David Letterman of course hosts the Late Show and Craig Ferguson hosts the Late Late Show. So which of those two shows will Tim Meadows actually be appearing on?

It should have read the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. That has been corrected. Thanks for reading.

Just my two cents: It makes more sense to showcase their new series, not old one. The star is on the talk show to get advertising for their newest show.
