I know this is a TBAA thread, but since there are no threads for PL, I thought I'd ask here anyway. Ever since GMC added Promised Land to its lineup, it seems they've been skipping the episode in which Dinah is a victim of a rape attempt, "Take Back The Night", which, IMO, is one of the best eps in the series' run. Is there any reason for this?

I don't have GMC, but I venture that since it is a family/religious channel that maybe they feel that episode isn't suitable for any kids watching...just guessing.
Hallmark actually bleeps out words on The Golden Girls and the old Family Channel used to do this on The Waltons. |

There are a number of "Promised Land" episodes GMC have decided to not broadcast. I e-mailed Viewer Services about this, and was told it was in their effort to keep ALL of our programming family friendly. |
